Urology & Andrology

The Department of Urology and Andrology has highly specialized medical team and state of art-technology, offering medical and surgical management of patients with benign and malignant diseases of the urogenital system, including kidneys, ureter, bladder, prostate, urethra and female and male genital organs.


Scope of Services:

  • Endourology: minimally invasive procedures to treat BPH (benign prostatic hypertrophy) Rezum, AEEP (Anatomic endoscopic enucleation of prostate) bipolar and Laser TFL, Management of kidney stones (Flexible Ureterorenoscopy for ureteric stones (URS) and kidney stones with Laser TFL, Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy for renal stones (PCNL) and Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) for urinary stones).
  • Laparoscopy and Conventional surgeries: e.g. tumors in kidney, Partial nephrectomy, urinary tract, prostate, testis and scrotum (varicocele, hydrocele, and tumors), etc.
  • Oncology: Surgical management of cancer of the urinary tract of men and women such as prostate, kidney and testicular cancers.
  • Female urology: Management of disorders of the lower urinary tract in females, such as urinary leakage, overactive bladder and pelvic organ prolapse.
  • UI (Urinary Incontinence) and voiding dysfunction in the continence clinic equipped with urodynamic machine, in collaboration with Physiotherapy department in the treatment of OAB (overactive bladder) and SUI (stress urinary incontinence) by PFMT and biofeedback. 
  • Sling procedure for SUI.
  • Male Urology/ infertility: Management of male infertility, erectile dysfunction, penile deformities and curvatures, PRP, Low intensity shock wave therapy for erectile dysfunction and insertion of penile prosthesis. 
  • Microscopic surgeries for infertility.
  • Pediatric urology: Treatment of urological problems in children. 
  • Reconstructive surgery: e.g. congenital anomalies (e.g. hypospadias, undescended testis)
  • Urethroplasty with buccal mucosa graft.
  • Urinary tract infection: Treatment of bacterial infection of the urethra, bladder, ureters or kidneys.
  • Neurourology: Treatment of urologic conditions that have a neurological origin, such as spinal cord injury.
