Home Care Program is an extended healthcare service of Dar Al Shifa Hospital provided to you at your convenience of your home.

A competent, well trained healthcare team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and other professionals provide different services upon your request and according to your need assessment to assist in your journey of recovery while you stay home.

What Services are part of DASH Home Care?

Specialized Services:

- Medical follow up

- Post -surgery follow up

- Wound care

- Suture removal

- IV initiation and management

- Enteral nutrition

- Oxygen therapy & Nebulizer  

- Medication administration

- Pharmacy consultation and home delivery of medications(refill)

Long Term Daily Nursing Care:

- Full day: 24 hours coverage

- Half day: 12 hours coverage

- Hourly: from 1h to 8h coverage

Physical Therapy:

- Use of electrical stimulation & ultrasound

- Passive neuro- rehabilitation

- Pediatric rehabilitation

- Post operative rehabilitation

Travel Assistance:

- Nurse accompanying patient requiring assistance while travelling outside Kuwait

- Nurse accompanying mother and newborn during travelling

- 24/7 Providing a transport around Kuwait using customized Van

Transportation Services

Laboratory Services:

- Collection of specimen; swabs, blood, urine, sputum and stool specimens.

- Results communicated to doctor and patient. 

Other Services:

- Training mother/ caregivers on proper ways to care for a newborn.  

- Care for the mother and her newborn

- Breastfeeding education and latching training

- Umbilical cord care 

- Feeding, bathing, changing diapers

- Organizing sleep hours

- Baby interacting program 

Baby Care Services:

Home Ultrasound services for all age groups
